2028 Festival Donations

MCF Grants

There are many grants awarded to the Province of Sussex each year from the MCF.

From the start of this Festival, Sussex has received 390 grants totalling £1,266,469.14 consisting of:150 Health Grants totalling £423,971.22177 Daily living Grants £732,073.1763 Youth Grants £110,424.75For the MCF to give these grants to all Provinces they have to refill their coffers…

This is where festivals come in. Each province every 11 or 12 years go into Festival which lasts 5 years, along with two or three other Provinces.Hampshire and Isle-of-Wight are also in Festival at the moment which finishes in 2027.

Every province in England and Wales go into Festival at some point to give the MCF a constant income.As you can see from the figures by the time we are out of Festival we will have received more than we put in.Remember the MCF still gives grants to Sussex even when we are out of Festival, therefore Sussex receiving even more money back.
